Shopping List - Makeup Edition

Hello! I recently drew up a shopping list, and so decided to share it with you guys

1. Elf Studio Makeup Mist and Set

It claims to be a radiance-boosting mist to keep make-up in place all day. I really need this, because the sun here in Nigeria is so hot, and so after a while my makeup tends to sweat off which can be so gross. This is my first time using a setting spray, so I thought I'd rather get this since it's dirt cheap.

2. NYX Setting Spray - Matte Finish

Instead of getting the Elf Studio Mist, I might get this since it's matte finish. It should help keep the shine to a bare minimum.

3. L.A Girl Pro Concealer in Dark Cocoa and Creamy Beige

I'm going to be using this to contour and highlight

4. Sleek Face Contour Kit

I'm going to be using this to set my contour

5. Elf Studio Poreless Face Primer

I love that this primer is poreless, as it will help my face look less shiny.

6. NYX Cosmettics Matte Lipstick in Shy

Lately, I'm into nude lips and dramatic eyes. I love that this nude is in matte and so will look more natural.

7. Beauty Blender Sponge

I'm getting the cheap version though. It should be useful for highlighting.

8. Real Techniques Sculpting Brush

I'm going to be using this to contour

9. Elf Studio Kabuki Face Brush

This will be used to apply face powder

10. Inglot AMC Cream Foundation

It claims to be a subtle cream foundation that provides natural coverage. It is matte to touch, yet with added illuminators to give a dewy appearance.I love the fact that it's matte.

11. Elf Studio Cream Eyeliner

I love gel eyeliners. They create smooth lines that's define and precise.

So, this is what I'm hoping to get soon. I'll make a haul post of what I eventually get.

Have you guys tried any of these products and what do you think? x

  1. The NYX Matte finish is a bit of a disappointment tbh if you already have oily skin.

    1. Thanks! I'll definitely think again before getting it x

  2. I have been wanting to try out some new face mists! These look fab!
